JESS AGI, MPA, CAPM
Consultant: Development & Operations
Born and raised in Alaska, Jess cut her teeth in NYC as an entertainment producer where she worked with top celebrity talent and national brands on world-class media content, events, and campaigns. While still in college, she worked on top-rated SiriusXM shows, produced live stand-up comedy throughout New York, and became a full-time producer and tour manager at CollegeHumor where she developed the brand’s live/touring department and produced viral web series and sponsored video content. Shifting genres, she then joined the team of A&E’s iconic reality series “Hoarders” as a Story Producer, a transformative role that helped leverage her vast skillset to create positive social change through combining advocacy and media.
While continuing to produce live comedy shows and video content for networks like Food Network, HGTV, and Bravo, she began to organize charity events and advocacy campaigns for social issues like universal free school lunch, women’s health, and gun violence prevention. To expand the impact of her work, Jess earned her master's degree in public administration and has since helped raise over $25 million for inspiring nonprofits as a nonprofit executive director and fundraiser (spanning gender and racial justice, reproductive health, children’s issues, healthcare equity, disability advocacy, hunger relief, and more) and has managed multiple progressive political campaigns.
Now based in Los Angeles, Jess is a social impact producer, talent manager for comedians, and nonprofit consultant focused on philanthropy and operations. She is relentless in her belief that comedy, media, and storytelling can change the world.
